Introduction of Dr. Anil Bhan

With an experience of over three decades, Dr. Anil Bhan is one of the most sought-after cardiac surgeons in India. He was a part of the 1994 team of doctors who performed the first successful heart transplant in India. With almost 100% successful heart surgeries, Dr. Bhan has performed over 15,000 cardiac procedures. He has the expertise in various cardiovascular procedures and has developed more than 50 surgical equipment.

Dr. Anil Bhan is a leading surgeon to have performed valve repair surgeries along with the best experience in Aortic surgery in the country. He is well known for performing a bypass on a patient of just 18 months. Being a pediatric cardiac surgeon, he has performed a number of valve repairs and aortic aneurysm surgeries in small children.

With a vision to improve the system of cardiac surgery in India, he helped in starting three cardiac surgical programmes within the country. Having begged a Gold medal while doing his MBBS, Dr. Bhan always desired to become a surgeon. With his hard work, his name is placed among some of the best heart surgeons in the world.
